As an individual, I ultimately crave deep connection and deep relationships – something I struggled to find on my path as a young adult. When I discovered AcroYoga in 2011, I felt that I found my home. In the practice, we are always communicating, building trust, co-creating, building memories, sharing in the joy of success and experiencing the drive to keep trying when we fail. It is a space where we have to check our egos at the door and be open and vulnerable to others. It offers the freedom to create without limitations…to dream, and then be supported and empowered to reach those dreams by a community of people. In this tender atmosphere, our spirits intertwine as we open ourselves up to authentic connection. This community has brought so much joy, meaning, and purpose to my life, and I feel a personal responsibility to share that life and joy others.
